The colour system / Nine bands, seven days

A band tells the room who you are.

Nine bands, each a colour and a shape, so people can find their own without an introduction. The same colours name the seven days, so the whole network speaks one colour language.

This page explains the system. Bands are handed out in person, at a TAGii room. None is sold from this website, and no price is published here.

What a band is.

Pick the band closest to what you do, and write your exact role underneath it, like “chef and owner” or “first year nursing student”. Bands describe people, not topics, so your band means the same thing at every TAGii event, on every day, in any room. Every band has its own shape as well as its own colour, so it reads clearly for every pair of eyes.

The bands were first worn at the Toronto Agentic opening social on 10 October 2026, at The Main Exchange. They are optional at weddings, funerals and children's events.

The nine bands.

One question each. The one you answer “yes” to is your band tonight.

More than one?

Most people are. Wear one band per event: the one that answers “what am I here as tonight?” A founder who designs wears red at a pitch night and pale pink at a fashion show. A chef who owns the restaurant wears red at a business mixer and blue at a cooking class.

Every colour also means a day.

TAGii uses one set of colours for everything, and each colour does two jobs at once. It names a band, which is who you are. It also names a day, which is what that day is about for everyone: the shows, the magazine, the nights and the ii in the mark all wear the day's colour.

A band sharing a day's colour does not mean the day is only for those people. Every band is welcome every day. It only means the whole system speaks one colour language.

Three colours that belong to no day.

  • Orange

    Partners, Sponsors & Pillars

TAG's own colour. It is never picked at the door. It is given to the partners, sponsors and pillar venues that make the nights happen, which is what keeps it worth something. If you see orange, say hello: they helped make tonight happen.

  • Gold diamond

    Investors & Backers

A band for the people who fund and support others. It belongs to no day.

  • Black hexagon

    Leaders & Operations

A band for the people who run and organize. It belongs to no day.

Everyone who believes in what TAGii is building can carry the mark another way: an orange band is earned by partners, sponsors and pillar venues, and there is jewellery for people who want it on every day, and clothing that tells a room you came to connect.

The rule behind the colours

Every TAGii colour is built from 3s and 5s. Look at the values and you will find only those two digits: #E33535, #3553E5, #FFD535, #FF3503.

How to get one.

Come to a room. Bands are given out in person, so the way to one is a TAGii event or a partner night. Orange is the exception: it is given, never picked, and it goes to the people and places that make the nights happen.
